High Cholesterol at Whataburger

Calorie intake is the main concern for people with high cholesterol while dining at a fast-food restaurant like Whataburger. Well, you can always try the Lighter & Smaller options from the menu to cut down your fat intake. Definitely better than your average fast food burger. I'm starting to crave one as I write this review actually. I've been through the drive thru of this location a couple of times. On my most recent visit, they were a little slower than normal, but the o-rings were fresh out of the fryer, so I can appreciate the time it took for my order to be given to me. I tried their special burger on Texas toast with avocado & bacon previously, but today's order was just a chicken sandwich. Nothing special, but it hit the spot. It's convenient in that you can drive through & it seems to be at a higher level than McD's and BK, but it's still fast food so I don't find myself driving through that often.

Stopped by on our way out of Jacksonville at the insistence of one of my Texan friends. I didn't expect much more than a divey fast food restaurant. However, I was pleasantly surprised. The service was really good for a fast food restaurant-- similar to what you get a Chick-fil-a if that's any help. The workers were very friendly and came around asking if we needed refills on any of our drinks. Furthermore, when they brought out our food, they came with condiment and napkins trays for us. In terms of food, it was very average fast food like I expected. The food and price is nothing to go out of the way for. However, the wider-than-usual sauce selection was a nice touch. Also, one of my friends got a grilled cheese that was way under cooked and unappetizing.

The post from waheed, puts his integrity in question. This is a decent burger stop. No where near the level of five guys, but blows in n out, out of the water. The burgers are tasty with excellent fresh topping choices. The only reason I don't give this place five stars is the fries. The French fries are possibly the worst fries of any major burger chain. Soft and soggy, tasting like straight starch and salt. The cleanliness of the place and freshness of the burger, made up for where the fries were lacking. I will definitely not hesitate to eat here again, but this time, no meal.

This review is for 1st timers and my apologies to those veterans that have more experience at Whataburger than I. As an out-of-town visitor, I was looking for something not available to me back home. I saw a few signs for Whataburger and thought that I needed to give it a try. After all, I tried White Caste when I was in TN. The cashier was friendly and answered my questions about what I needed to try. A quick consult to the Yelp tips and I ended up with a Whataburger with cheese and grilled onions. I took it to go so I could enjoy on one of the nearby beaches, and my food was prepared efficiently and placed in trademark bag. I attempted to buy spicy ketchup but the cashier told me a story about how the location did not get its weekly delivery of supplies so they were out of supplies like napkins and yes, spicy ketchup. No supply truck delivery? Sounds like a Superbad movie sequel. Overall, eating the burger while watching waves crash on the beach made for a pleasant meal. The burger tasted good and I was happy with my choice, especially the grilled onions. It was filling and had I not been so concerned, I would have tried the burger with jalapenos. I believe this place has better burgers than 5 guys, but it's no In-N-Out. That is all.

Whataburger, it's a funny name when I first saw and ate at their store in Texas. Now it is one of my favorite burgers out there. I don't know why they just have all the right parts I guess. Grilled to order and fresh veggies or what. I always get the Whataburger with cheese no tomatoes and jalapenos. They are always hot with a soft bun and heavy on the mustard and there is a spice blend that just does it for me. So I will stop in again. It might be 3-4 months but I'll be back. Hey Mr. whata please build more for me. Please

I travel for work and for a quick burger, I usually stop at McDonalds because I like their coffee. I think this is the best managed burger joint at the beach. My food is always very hot and the drive through staff is very very nice. Never ordered coffee here but for fast food burgers, this is the best around here.

It's a nice fast food place that has workers serve your food and offer condiments on an awesome tray. Have the spicy ketchup! It's hot sauce + ketchup in a packet and saves you time to make it yourself if you like that kind of stuff. That being said, fast food is fast food. It's a good for a quick meal but the quality is like McDonald's or Wendy's

Breakfast was delicious this morning. My daughter said that it was the best chicken biscuit ever- and she is quite the expert! The food comes out slowly but it's worth the wait. I had one of their burgers about four years ago and I remember it being yummy, I will go back when it is convenient.

I have heard lots of good things about Whataburger so I was excited to finally try one myself. I was disappointed to find that it was really a fast food place - I went in thinking more along the lines of 5-guys. The staff apparently don't understand the build your own burger as advertised on the board? I ended up picking a bunch of stuff off my burger that I didn't want. Overall, the burger was better than other fast food places.

The biggest complaint I have with Whataburger is that there are none even remotely close to where I live, put one there and you get 5 stars. I went to one in 1991 when living in San Antonio, TX while in the military. Being a Tennessean and before that a Michigander, I had never heard of this chain before and figured I would try it out. I loved the burger and fries so ate there a few times. Then I was stationed in a place that didn't have one again and always lived in a place that had none. Twenty One years later I am on vacation in FL and I see the Whataburger sign and told my wife and friends that we had to stop there. I was worried that I talked the place up too much and the people I was with would hate the food. They were very happy with the food stating that it was one of the best burgers they have eaten at a fast food place. My wife got the new grilled chicken fajita taco and she loved it. I just wish they were closer to me.

My review is only for the breakfast. Like the other reviews say, it is friendly and efficient. I absolutely love the breakfast taquitos, in my humble opinion, the absolutely best of any fast food restraurants. It starts with a great shell, with seasoned scrambled eggs, yummy sausage, and cheese. Put in some of their pacante sauce and you have a whole lot of breakfast goodness. Do your self a favor, GO there and sample it. My only criticism is that they don't serve them all day.

Forgot cheese. Took burger delivered to customer and put cheese on sandwich in the back. Delivered burger back to customer. Health code violation.
